Overview

Nepal’s iconic high-altitude trekking journey to the foothills of Mount Everest. Hike through Sherpa villages, rhododendron forests, and dramatic glacial valleys to reach the legendary Everest Base Camp and viewpoints like Kala Patthar.

Itinerary

  1. Fly from Kathmandu / Ramechhap to Lukla
  2. Trek to Phakding along the Dudh Koshi River
  3. Continue to Namche Bazaar and acclimatize
  4. Trek via Tengboche and Pangboche to Dingboche
  5. Climb higher to Lobuche via glacial valleys
  6. Trek to Everest Base Camp and return to Gorak Shep
  7. Sunrise hike to Kala Patthar for close Everest views
  8. Descend via Pheriche, Namche, and Lukla
  9. Fly back to Kathmandu / Ramechhap

Challenging: long days of hiking at high altitude (up to ~5,550 m). Recommended for fit trekkers with some prior hiking experience.

Spring (March–May) and autumn (late September–November) for stable weather and clear mountain views.

Yes, it’s a risk above 3,000 m. Proper acclimatization days, a gradual pace, hydration, and listening to your guide are essential.
